Katherine Heavey is a lecturer in early modern English Literature at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests are primarily focused on classical adaptation and translation in early modern English literature. Her book, The Early Modern Medea: Medea in English Literature 1558-1688, was published by Palgrave in 2015. She is currently working on a book project examining how early modern authors use myth to communicate with different sections of audiences or readerships.
