Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Representing over 50 countries in our student body and faculty and with a campus in Qatar and China, the Business school prides itself as the most diverse of all Schools at the University of Aberdeen. The terms Equality, Diversity and Inclusion go deeper than just Gender, Ethnic, and Cultural Diversity, and we try to understand the many intersectionalities to help us address equality. We have been awarded the Athena SWAN Athena Swan Bronze and we maintain a communicating member status of UN-PRME . We also work closely with the University to meet the standards of the Race Equality Charter award . Projects that we are involved in include HE Race Equality Charter, Decolonising the Curriculum and our students lead the 'Women in Business Network'

As a school, we are committed to renewing our approaches to engendering inclusivity in everything we do. Our EDIC members are involved in developing EDI through projects, accreditations and personal work in their various areas of expertise and interests. Our newsletters showcase some of these activities. We are guided by the University's EDI 8 commitments.
