The laboratory is based at the University of Aberdeen’s Edward Wright Annex. The laboratory features 20 computers on a local stand-alone computer network and a separate control room.
The computers are physically separated from each other in booths. The laboratory features the state-of-the-art software to run different kinds of controlled experiments (oTree).
The laboratory also has access to a research participant pool that can be used for laboratory-based sessions or another related research. The subject pool is administered via ORSEE. Currently, SEEL has in place an active collaboration for research from the School of Psychology.
