This is a collaborative research project that has involved academics and practitioners based at the University of Aberdeen, Nankai University, SOAS University of London, Zhejiang University, and The People’s Bank of China. The project is jointly funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). The project aims to develop and deepen our understanding of the Chinese financial system and its crucial role in supporting the future development and continued growth of the Chinese economy.
