Globally, accounting is embedded in organisational, social, and political contexts and holds importance across a variety of spheres, as such the accounting profession holds a unique ability to help drive change, provide solutions to real-world problems, and help build a more sustainable and better future. The centre seeks to forge close collaboration with national (UK) and international accountancy professional bodies, through which there are clear value-added benefits in terms of strengthening the research and innovative potential of the centre.

The centre will also forge close connections with research partners and existing research networks that have a long-standing track record of supporting and promoting interdisciplinary research that align with the research centre themes. Collaborations with these partners will accelerate engagement with persistent real-world challenges.
