A marketing student from the University of Aberdeen Business School is all smiles after being presented with an award recognising his outstanding work on his final year project, which focused on a dental services company.
MSc Marketing Management student Grant Heath was presented with the Battery Ventures Entrepreneurial Award 2018 by US-based businessman Dave Cormack, executive-in-residence and advisor to Battery Ventures, a global, technology-focused investment firm.
Grant’s project focused on reviewing the existing product portfolio of Curve Dental, another company founded by Aberdeen-born Mr Cormack. Specifically, the project looked at how the company’s products could be brought into the UK market.
As part of the award Grant travelled to Battery Ventures offices in London, where he attended a meeting and evening conference with their executives.
Professor Ignacio Canales said: “I wish to congratulate Grant on his achievement on behalf of the Business School. This is a significant achievement that will help boost his career.”
