The Deputy Dean of the Business School was in Vietnam this week to encourage prospective postgraduate students to study in Aberdeen.
Mark Whittington spoke to around 150 students at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Min City on Thursday (March 30). The event was held to encourage students to take advantage of a postgraduate partnership between both universities, where Vietnamese students have the option to complete their studies in Aberdeen through the MSc Finance and Investment, the Business School’s biggest programme.
Commenting after the event, he said: “I was pleased with the interest shown by students who are considering coming to Aberdeen, and grateful for the opportunity to tell them all about the fantastic opportunities available to them.
“Through our partnership with the University of Economics in Ho Chi Min City we will also welcome students onto the MSc Accounting and Finance degree in 2018, so this is very much a growing area in terms of the Business School’s international activities and profile.”
