There will be a Business School external seminar on 23 March 2022 from 1500 – 1615 (1h talk & 15mins Q&A). The speaker is Dr Prasenjit Banerjee, who is Lecturer in Economics in the University of Manchester.
He is an applied economist with broad research interests that span experimental and behavioural economics, environmental and resource economics, development and political economics. The key feature of his work is an emphasis on both theoretical and empirical (mainly, experimental) aspects, as well as its policy relevance. His most recent research covers several aspects of the interaction between psychological motivations and economic behaviour, experimental economics (lab and lab-in-the-field), environmental policy design (e.g., taxation, voluntary approach), environmental valuation, and development economics.
