International Student Research Forum
-

This is a past event

The ISRF Forum is a cooperation between The University of Nebraska (USA), The University and Chinese Academy of Sciences - UCAS (China), Griffith University (Australia), Tokyo University (Japan), Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (Japan), The University of Southern Denmark (Denmark) and The University of Aberdeen (UK).

The history of the forum dates back to 2005 and a meeting between the University of Tokyo and the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The first International Student Research Forum was held in 2006 when it included students from the University of Nebraska Medical Centre, Omaha, USA.

The International Student Research Forum conference is now an annual event which has previously been hosted in Denmark, Beijing, Tokyo, Omaha and Brisbane-Gold Coast. The setting for the conference and accommodation is on the King's Campus in Old Aberdeen, the oldest part of the city. The cobbled streets and impressive architecture are very picturesque and gives a glimpse into the historic past of the city.

Participants are PhD students and the forum provides them with an exciting opportunity to share their experiences and to form professional relationship across international boundaries.
