Final conference of the EU Marie Curie Initial Training Network SAPRO.
Aims:
The oomycete fish pathogen Saprolegnia parasitica is a major problem in the aquaculture industry where it has been estimated that 10% of all hatched salmon and eggs succumb to Saprolegnia infections (Saprolegniosis).
The SAPRO network is integrated into the research activities of European leaders of complementary disciplines, with a research focus towards the development of novel and sustainable measures to control Saprolegniosis and support the aquaculture industry in Europe.
