The author seeks forgiveness. He asks that at the time of his death he may be sound in sense, faith and belief, and properly confessed and repentant; and that he may be delivered from the hands of his enemies, from all evil, from hell and eternal torment.

Precor et supplico te domine ut illam\ michi concedere dignemini pro tua magna misericordia et\ pietate tua usque in finem meum. Et in illa hora\ tremenda quando anima mea assumpta erit de\ corpore meo. Presta michi domine rectum sensum meum rectam\ fidem rectam credulitatem, rectam confessionem ve\ram penitenciam ac contricionem michi concedere dig\neris Christe omnipotens deus et custodias me a despera\cione.
