A prayer to God, asking for peace, forgiveness, penitence and guidance.
Domine sancte pater omnipotens\ verus deus qui manes in trinitate\ da in terris pacem mortuis indul\genciam peccatoribus veram penitenciam, salva\ iustos et converte peccatores ad viam veritatis et\ omnes ad tuam gloriam perducere digneris. Qui vivis.\

Salve Ihesu rex celorum fili regis angelorum O rex Ihesu\ omnium flos plus quam encium quid sume preces peten\cium Ihesu redemptor omnium. Sit nomen domini benedic\tum. Ex hoc nunc et usque in seculum.\
Prayer, Domine sancte pater omnipotens verus deus qui dixisti.
A prayer to God, who said: 'I do not desire that a sinner should die but rather that he should turn from his wickedness' (see Ezekiel, 18:23). The author asks, for himself and his wife, that their sins should be forgiven and that they may not die before they have received absolution.
