Hymn, Tu Ihesus es testis, continued.
... as on one who bears Christ. The author asks the saint to make us worthy of
God's love, to bring us comfort, to take away our troubles, and to secure for us
clemency at the time of judgement.
[qui] fert mente velut sis <venerando fidelis>.
Martir Christofore pro salvatoris\ honore,
Fac nos mente fore dignos deitatis a\more.
Promisso Christi quia quod petis obtinuisti,
Da\ populo tristi bonaque [bona que] moriendo petisti.
Confer sola\men et mentis tolle gravamen.
Iudicis examen\ fac mite sit omnibus. Amen.

Gloria et honore\ coronasti eum domine.
Et constituisti eum super opera manuum\ tuarum.

Prayer, Concede quesumus omnipotens et.
A prayer to God, asking that through the merit and intercession of St
Christopher we may be delivered from sudden death, plague, hunger, fear, poverty
and our enemies, through Christ whom St Christopher carried in his arms.

Concede quesumus omnipotens et misericors\ deus ut [qui] beati Christofori
martiris tui\ memoriam agimus eius piis meritis et inter\cessionibus a morte
subitanea peste et fame ti\more et paupertate et ab omnibus insidiis inimi\corum
