Saint George.
Hymn, Georgi martir inclite.
A hymn commemorating St George (see HL, 3, p 317). The most chivalrous of
knights, he rescued a king's daughter from a dragon, after which she gave
herself to God (GL, p 234). The author asks that we may be admitted to heaven,
cleansed of our misdeeds, there to praise Christ.

Predotatum mi\licia
per quem puella regia\
existens in tristicia,
Coram dra\cone pessimo
te rogans corde\ intimo
salvata est et animo
se reddidit altis\simo.
Cum multis fidelibus
fac ergo sic ut civi\bus
tu nos reddas celestibus
nostris ablutis sordibus.\
Ut simul cum leticia
tecum simus in gloria
