Whitbread Prizewinner and Others to Read Works for Public

Kate Atkinson, who won the Whitbread Prize for her first novel Behind the Scenes at the Museum and who has consolidated her reputation with two further novels, Human Croquet and Emotionally Weird will be reading her work for the public along with award-winning novelist and short story writer Ali Smith, a Welsh writer now living in Aberdeen, Sian Preece, and Susie Maguire, who will publish her first collection of stories this year.

The public will have the opportunity to hear their works on Tuesday, May 16th at 7:00 pm in the Linklater Room, King’s College, Old Aberdeen, as part of the University’s Reading Aloud series.

Admission is free and open to the public.
