The Department of General Practice and Primary Care seeks to support primary care practitioners through research, teaching and service development activities. This work is underpinned by robust collaborative links with NHS colleagues working within the secondary care sector, and academic departments at the University. These links put the department in a strong position to advance its vision of being one of the top Departments of General Practice and Primary Care in the UK.
