Alumni, supporters and friends of the University of Aberdeen are cordially invited to the 8th annual Ancient Universities Burns Nicht in Boston on Saturday, January 10 2015.
Join fellow alumni from the Ancient Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews, Trinity College Dublin, Oxford and Cambridge for a night of music, dancing and celebration of the life and works of the Scottish bard.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30pm followed by a bagpipe and drum demonstration and a performance by Highland Dance Boston. The pipers, Kevin Wisehart and Silas Neale, the drummer, Brian Morgan, and Highland Dance Boston will lead the procession to dinner at 7.00pm. After dinner, the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society will perform and lead in country dancing until 11:30pm.
