The next Statutory Meeting of the General Council and exclusive alumni May festival event - Demystifying the Referendum on Saturday 10 May at 2pm in the recently refurbished lecture theatre in the Meston Building, University of Aberdeen.
The Statutory Meeting will include a report from the Convenor of the Business Committee and General Council notices. There will also be a ballot to elect members of the General Council standing for six vacancies on the Business Committee.
We are delighted that Aberdeen graduate, journalist and broadcaster, David Torrance will be in conversation with Dr Lynn Bennie, Department of Politics and International Relations discussing the future of Scotland in our exclusive alumni event – Demystifying the Referendum.
David’s latest book – The Battle for Britain will be available to purchase on the day. Following the meeting we would be delighted if you could join our speakers and fellow graduates for afternoon tea in Craig suite, 7th Floor, Sir Duncan Rice Library from 3pm. David will be on hand to sign copies of his book.
