Graduates in the East Midlands are invited to attend a factory tour of Ernest Wright & Son Ltd - a family company hand-making finest scissors and shears in Sheffield since 1902 using traditional skills passed down from generation to generation.
After lunch at a local hostelry, visit the Kelham Island Industrial Museum, which tells the story of the industrial past of Sheffield. It houses the mighty River Don Steam Engine which used to run the rolling mills to turn out steel plate.
The free Ernest Wright & Son tour has been kindly organised by East Midlands Aberdeen Graduates Association (EMAGA) President, Alison Gallie.
