The Alumnus Association's annual summer outing will visit the Maryculter Carriage Driving Centre, 29 May 2013 from 6 p.m. There will be a guided tour of the Centre's carriage collection and harness rooms, with a rare chance to see an original fully restored Road Coach circa 1870, and an introduction to some of the Centre's carriage horses and ponies and to their training and duties, including harnessing up and attaching to a carriage.
There will be an optional post-tour supper of one course with tea/coffee at the Old Mill Inn, Maryculter, at 7.45 for 8.00. The charges are £12 for the tour only, and £24 for the tour and supper.
