Return of Granite City Ball 2011!!!
The Granite City Ball is a charity fundraising event aimed at the geological community of North East Scotland. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboats Institute (RNLI) and the Aberdeen Geological Alumni (AGA).After a two year absence, the Granite City Ball is set to return with a new look, new venue, whilst retaining the spirit of previous years. The ball will be held on Saturday 12th March 2011 at Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen. This prestigious black tie event will comprise a champagne reception, three course meal, ceilidh and charity auction and raffle.
Tickets will be on sale soon. Prices are £60 for Industry / Academic staff, £40 for students. Tickets are limited so book now to avoid disappointment!Block bookings for a table of 10 are on offer.To register an interest please email the committee - gcb@abdn.ac.uk If you require a seat on the free shuttle bus to and from the event please inform us when booking you ticket. Buses will run from the city centre to Ardoe House and return after the event. Seats will be limited to a first come first serve basis, so if you want a place on the shuttle bus please contact us asap!
