The British Council is committed to enhance the employability and competitiveness of UK Alumni in the China job market.
They plan to run a half-day workshop and a mini recruitment fair in four cities in China in January 2008 for UK alumni who recently returned to China and are looking for jobs.
Cities and dates of the workshop:
- Beijing: 19 Jan 2008
- Shanghai: 20 Jan 2008
- Guangzhou: 12 Jan 2008
- Chengdu: 19 Jan 2008
The aim of the workshop is to help Chinese students better understand the competitive job market in China as well as the employers’ needs, to prepare them to enter/re-enter the job market and to make full use of their competences developed from studying in the UK.
