Join us on the opening night of the University's Word festival when General Council members (all graduates and certain academic staff) will gather for an exclusive event.
Rosemary Goring, Literary Editor of the Herald, opens the 2008 Word Festival and talks about her new book, Scotland: The Autobiography. This free event, which includes a report form the Convener of the Business Committee and General Council notices, is followed by a drinks reception in Zeste, Old Aberdeen, at 7.30pm when the Word festival will be officially opened.
