Fit rare! Join us for a night at the theatre, as we support our students and their incredible efforts to produce yet another stand-out student show; all in aid of some very worthy causes.
This year's show titled 'Mounthoolin Rouge!' is described as follows:
Gregor McEwan moves to the bricht lichts o’ Aiberdeen to start at Nescol. His new digs overlook the cooncil’s latest attempt to win back public favour – the Mounthoolin Rouge! A brand new club on the Mounthooly Roundabout. It’s nae lang afore he and his pals are immersed in the mesmerising spectacle (and undeniable chaos) o’ the club and the folk who work there, in a bid to save it from closure. Will they save i’day? Of course they will, Come Fit May!
The show will be preceded by a drinks reception at the theatre, exclusively for our guests. We'll be joined by PhD researcher Lauren Hossack from the Elphinstone Institute and School of English, who is currently working on a project titled 'Performing language and identity through Aberdeen Student Show'. Lauren will be on hand throughout the reception with some show memorabilia and fascinating information on the over 100 year legacy of the Student Show.
You don't have to be alumni to attend. Staff, students, and University supporters are always welcome to attend our events!
Tickets are £40 per person and include stalls seating and drinks reception.
Tickets will be distributed at the pre-show drinks reception.
