This is a past event
This is the first year we will be taking part in the Women’s 10k and would love to get a team of strong, supportive women together to take on this challenge. The Women’s 10k takes place in Glasgow and Edinburgh this year, both with stunning city centre routes! Glasgow takes place on Sunday 16 June and Edinburgh on Sunday 22 Sept and are both a great way to get involved and fundraise for Women’s Health Research at the University.
Working closely with NHS colleagues, our team of researchers at the Aberdeen Centre for Women’s Health are on a mission to improve the lives of women across their life course. With your support, our research will have a direct impact, addressing women’s clinical needs and identifying the best ways to deliver effective and personalised care for conditions from fertility through pregnancy, childbirth, menstrual disorders, precancerous conditions to pelvic floor disorders and incontinence.
We are offering free places, we just ask that you raise a minimum of £60! In return you will receive fundraising support along the way and a UoA fundraising t-shirt for your walk.
