Join us for a talk from Professor George Youngson, a graduate from the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition. He is an Emeritus of Paediatric Surgery at the University and Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.

The book, 'Bringing Life to Aberdeen: A History of Maternity and Neonatal Services' documents the history and development of midwifery and maternity services in the city. It was co-edited by Professor Youngson and three of his colleagues, and was released in 2022. During this event Professor Youngson will break down this fascinating and unique history and answer your questions.

The event will be taking place in the Dugald Baird Conference Room in the Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, which is a very fitting location indeed!

Tickets are £3 per person and include tea, coffee and biscuits.
