The next event of our Lithuania Alumni Group will take place online with alumnus Neil Cocker as a guest speaker on Tuesday 16 November at 7pm (EET).

After graduating from the University in the summer of 1994, Neil spotted an advertisement in a University newsletter that read 'Teach in Lithuania - no experience necessary!' A few weeks later he was on his way to the small town of Ukmerge, where he would spend a year teaching English at a local school and navigating the highly unfamiliar world of Post-Soviet Lithuania.

Join Neil as he shares his story of what he learned in that eventful year and how his emotional attachment to Lithuania has grown and developed over the years. Currently a Director at Tomorrow Street, Vodafone’s global scaleup accelerator, Neil will also talk about his career journey and how unconventional experiences can shape our direction in life.

Please regiser below if you would like to attend and joining information will be shared closer to the time of the event.
