53rd Annual Christmas Walk Parade in Alexandria

Join the Washington Alumni Chapter at the annual Scottish Christmas Walk Parade in Alexandria, Virginia, on Saturday 7 December, from 11am-1pm.
The Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade started more than 50 years ago to highlight the city’s Scottish heritage. The parade is filled with Scottish clans dressed in tartans, pipe and drum bands, Scottish terriers and hounds, and community groups.
Our alumni group will walk in the parade behind the University of Aberdeen banner and University flags will be provided. This is the first time the University has participated in the Christmas Walk, but it will hopefully become an annual tradition.
