This is a past event
We hope you and your family will join us on campus for this magical alumni festive event.
Taking place at 4.30pm on Wednesday 04 December in the Linklater Rooms, with our magnificent Christmas tree twinkling outside, we are hosting an afternoon especially for kids! We will begin with some snacks and Christmas themed crafting stations, as well as a chance to create some fun memories in our Christmas photo booth. Later in the afternoon Santa Claus himself will join in the fun! All of the children will get a chance to tell Santa what they'd like for Christmas and receive a little gift to take home with them. We will also have a North Pole post box at the event, so please be sure to have those Santa letters ready for posting.
For the adults escorting children to the event, we also have you covered. There will be plenty of hot drinks and mince pies available throughout the afternoon.
You don't have to be a parent to take a child along to the event; grandparents, aunties, uncles, and guardians are more than welcome to take the little ones in their lives along to join in the festive fun.
Tickets are just £5 per person, for both adults and children, and cover refreshments, crafts and a small gift from Santa. Babies and infants (those too young to participate in the activities) are welcome to join free of charge.
This year we also want to be part of the effort to ensure children living in poverty can have a great Christmas. During the event we will be collecting gifts for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal. If you would like to take part, all you need to do is take along a new and unwrapped gift for a child or young person aged 0-18 and we will ensure that they are dropped off to Mission Christmas HQ in time for Santa to make the delivery. Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
Online registrations for this event are now closed. If you would like to register to attend, please email alumni@abdn.ac.uk.
