What should my user ID be?

You will use your user ID every time you login to the Alumni Hub. It can be any combination of letters and numbers that you choose but please ensure it is something memorable.

What should my password be?

You will use your password every time you login to the Alumni Hub. New security guidelines require that passwords are at least 8 characters long and include at least one upper case letter and one number. One good trick for generating these kinds of passwords is to choose a verse or poem that you are familiar with and substitute numbers for similar looking letters eg 5 for s, 1 for i and so on. Remember also to include at least one upper case letter. For example you could choose the first line of Yesterday by The Beatles:- 'Yesterday All My Troubles Seemed So Far Away'. This could generate passwords such as Yamt55fA or yamTs5fa. These kinds of passwords are difficult to crack.

What should my memorable phrase be?

This is to help you remember your password should you forget it in the future. Choose a word or statement that will help jog your memory, for example for the above passwords you could use the phrase 'Yesterday', or 'The Beatles'.

Can I change my password?

Yes you can. You need to login to the Alumni Hub and go to the 'Update My Details' section. Then simply enter your new user name or enter and confirm your new password and click Submit.

What do I do if I forget my password or user ID?

If you forget your password, go to the login page as normal, however, instead of entering your user ID and password, please select the 'forgotten password' link. You need to enter your user ID at this point. If you forget your user ID please email us with your full name, date of birth and year of graduation and we will assist you.

What format should my date of birth be in?
