Aberdeen Centre for Women's Health Research (ACWHR) Seminar with Bolanle Brikinns - 'The role of lifestyle factors in the development of CVD in women with history of hypertensive disorders'

 

Bolanle is currently a Lecturer in Health and Social Care at the University of Essex and Honorary research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen.

She was awarded the NRS career fellowship in 2019 to 2022 for early career research in NHS Grampian with the University of Aberdeen as a clinical research nurse.  Titled: The role of lifestyle factors in the development of cardiovascular disease in women in hypertensive disorders in pregnancy.

She is also a member of the Physical and mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan research group in the University of Essex.

She is also a British and Irish Hypertension Society member and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
