Lesley and the team, based here at the University of Aberdeen and at Queen's University Belfast, were recently awarded research funding from Blood Cancer UK to investigate a group of blood cancers called myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), affecting approximately 4,000 people in the UK every year.
