Presentation at ONE Life Sciences Network
Today Dr Gerald Lip from NHS Grampian and Carla Brackstone from Kheiron Medical Technologies presented their work, which explores the use of AI in radiology and breast screening, at ONE BioHub as part of the ONE Life Sciences Network.
Dr Lip is the clinical director at the North East of Scotland Breast Screening Programme and a Consultant Radiologist at NHS Grampian. He is also a principal investigator of the GEMINI prospective evaluation of mammography AI, supported by the NHS National Strategy for AI in Health and Social Care.
Carla Brackstone is senior partnerships manager at Kheiron Medical Technologies and works with UK NHS Trusts and partners globally on research and deployment of the company's Mia AI breast screening tool.
