Stroke: using data to improve stroke care
My clinical work includes acute stroke care and hypertension clinics. I currently lead the hypertension service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. My main research interests are stroke epidemiology (particularly how service organisation and treatments affect outcomes after stroke), clinical trials in thrombosis and stroke and low field stroke imaging. I am Honorary Deputy Secretary of the British and Irish Association of Stroke Physicians and Clinical Lead for the Scottish Stroke Care Audit.
