This year’s Adrian Grant Lecture will be delivered by Professor Kathy Rowan. Professor Kathy Rowan founded ICNARC, an independent, not-for-profit, scientific organisation to facilitate improvements in the structure, process, outcomes and experiences of critical care - for patients and for those who care for them. ICNARC manages a broad programme of clinical audit and clinical/health services research, nationally and internationally. ICNARC were instrumental in providing time critical data throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic which informed decision making across sectors. Professor Rowan is currently the Director of the NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme, which aims to produce rigorous and relevant evidence to improve the quality, accessibility and organisation of health and social care services.
