All University of Aberdeen staff with interests in ‘healthy ageing’ (genetic, environmental, social, or economic aspects), life-course research and coastal and energy communities are invited to an interdisciplinary workshop on the Aberdeen Children of the 1950s cohort and opportunities from the new data collection that is set to enhance this valuable resource. The cohort is a large population study of Aberdonians which has contributed substantially to research in epidemiology, psychology, public health, and sociology. Current & recent users and some cohort members will present perspectives and experiences followed by a discussion on research opportunities.
