The conference provides a vital opportunity for health and care providers and representatives from the 3rd Sector to further understand how the use of data can improve the delivery of services, empower patients and their families whilst creating important cost savings for providers.
Scottish Government has pledged in the new digital strategy that “We will begin work now to deliver a Scottish health and care 'national digital platform' through which relevant real-time data and information from health and care records, and the tools and services they use, is available to those who need it, when they need, wherever they are, in a secure and safe way.”
The opportunities that come from effective use of data are huge, empowering citizens and care providers to make better decisions, create efficiencies and importantly spark innovation of new technology that can improve outcomes.

Co-designed with speakers, delegates and suppliers, we've created a fully interactive approach that will enable delegates to engage more, share examples of success and to develop relationships and partnerships with colleagues from the industry with a view to improving interoperability of emerging technology. Key Note Speakers & Case Study Presentations Throughout the course of the day, delegates will hear a number of interactive presentations which showcase examples of success. The aim of the case study presentations is to demonstrate what is possible and to identify transferable benefits that can be applied in your organisation.
