Tell us about your role at ACE

I just joined ACE, I really appreciate the opportunity to be part of the team and most especially the opportunity to contribute to health improvement and general well-being. I am eager and looking forward to meeting everyone and contributing my knowledge, experiences, and unprejudiced opinions to enhance the health of the public.

My motivation to join patient public involvement emanated from a profound belief in the need to amplify patients' voices in healthcare settings. I do believe that the patients and public can offer priceless insights and perspectives that can ultimately influence healthcare practices, policies and research priorities. Getting involved in PPI will give me the opportunity to advocate for a more inclusive healthcare services/setting where the needs and experiences of patients are respected and prioritised.

Through my involvement, I hope to contribute to initiatives/research that improve patient experience, promote transparency in healthcare service delivery and enhance health outcomes.

What is your favourite thing about your role in ACE?

My favourite thing about my role as a public involvement partner is this sense of belonging it provides and absolute respect for everyone's opinion.
