The 3rd Annual Research Symposium is launching the evidence directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland, and celebrating the strategic alliance between the Health Services Research Unit and the Health Economics Research Unit at the University of Aberdeen, and Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
Many of our staff travelled to Edinburgh today to attend the '3rd Annual Research Symposium: Bringing Evidence Together.'
The morning session was chaired by Unit Director Professor Marion Campbell and was followed by virtual poster presentations. Heather Morgan presented a poster titled 'Benefits of Incentives for Breastfeeding and Smoking Cessation in Pregnancy (BIBS): A mixed-methods study to inform trial design' and Alison Avenell presented 'Using a combined realist and socio-ecological approach to integrating quantitative and qualitative evidence on obesity management for men – the ROMEO project'
