The theme for this year’s event was “improved trials for better health decisions for an informed public” and included topics such as enhancing public involvement in trials research, the challenges of surgical trials and an informative session on ‘The People’s Trial’.
Dr Katie Gillies presented her work which highlighted the importance of considering retention within clinical trials at the HRB TMRN. Many of our HSRU staff attended, and although the event was held virtually this year, interesting discussions and Q&A sessions were held between scientists across the globe.
