The Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology award has been renewed for a further 5 years.
The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) has renewed our “Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology” status, originally awarded for the period 2010-2015, for a further 5 years, until 2020.
EULAR represents the patient, health professional and scientific societies of rheumatology of all European nations. Its role is to stimulate, promote, and support the research, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic diseases. This highly prestigious award is based on the number and quality of our research outputs.
The Aberdeen Centre for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Health is currently one of only 2 centres in Scotland and 22 centres across Europe to have been awarded “Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology” status by EULAR.
