There are about 200 different types of arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions that can cause pain and disability. They fall into 6 main groups:
- Degenerative arthritis
- Inflammatory arthritis
- Connective tissue disease and vasculitis
- Soft tissue musculoskeletal pain
- Back pain
- Musculoskeletal trauma
