The University of Aberdeen Institute of Dentistry is on the Foresterhill campus off Westburn Drive and houses both academic and dental care facilities, with the internal space shared between the University and NHS Grampian.
The ground floor is dedicated to NHSG dental services, while student teaching facilities are all on the first floor.
The principal function of the Institute of Dentistry is dental education. The first cohort of students graduated in 2012. However, the Institute of Dentistry also recognises the crucial role of research.
More information about some of the exciting projects currently ongoing can be found via the Institute of Dentistry website.
