Building on the success of its 1st Postgraduate Law Conference, the Centre for Private International Law (CPIL) of the University of Aberdeen is pleased to host the 2nd Postgraduate Law Conference, to be held on 6th May 2024 as a virtual event. The Conference will bring together early career scholars working in the private international law field or fields with an intersection to private international law such as EU Law, Human Rights Law and AI Law. The purpose is for young scholars to have the opportunity to present their research before panels with relevant expertise and receive valuable feedback for further development of their work. The Conference will include panels on Private International Law aspects of International Family Law, International Civil & Commercial Law, AI and Cross-Border Legal Issues; and Private International Law and Human Rights; and will be complete with the unrivalled expertise of the Members and Associate Members of the CPIL and external scholars.
