Why did you originally decide to study in the UK?
The UK education system has a long distinguished history and has been the basis of most other education systems. Aberdeen was offering exactly what I had been looking for. The one year postgraduate programme was exciting.
Whereabouts in the city do you live? Are you in student halls?
Postgraduate halls of accommodation on Elphinstone road. I love living here because I get to interact with many international students and the halls are strategically placed within reach of most if not all facilities.
What are your favourite things to do with your spare time in Aberdeen?
Haven't had much spare time as yet but been to the beach and Seaton Park. The university is surrounded by great outdoor activities and scenery.
What are the best aspects of living in Aberdeen?
The friendly community and the fact that you can find your way around to almost anywhere (well almost) on foot. It’s a small city.
Can you tell us something that you know about Scotland now, that you didn’t know before you arrived?
The ceilidh is their traditional dance and it works up a sweat better than an aerobics workout and its much more fun too!
