This talk, from Dr Johannes Heim at the School of Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture explains the benefits of caregivers’ intentional interaction with their infants for language development.
Research has shown that children whose caregivers received training in interacting with their children outperform their peers in verbal and non-verbal behaviour for years.
