Responsibility for operations within Estates is shared across 3 main inter dependant teams that offer a fully integrated service across the University:
- Maintenance -
Situated within the University Office at Regent Walk, the Maintenance Team are responsible for the following functions:
- General Maintenance; Building Maintenance; Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance; Grounds/Sportsfield Maintenance; Fault reporting and Key cutting.
A team of 5 Building Clerks of Works is responsible for the organisation of planned and reactive maintenance to buildings' structures and fittings, plumbing services, internal/external decoration, floorcovering, campus roads/pathways and car parks. Details of requests for repairs (emergency or routine) and maintenance will be taken by the Fault Desk with reference numbers issued to track the progress of any works.
- Projects - The Projects Team comprising 11 staff is situated within the University Office at Regent Walk. The team is tasked with providing the University with a professional, cost-effective and customer focused project management and design service.
- Support Services - The University's Support Services Team is administered from the University Office, Regent Walk, Kings College Campus with dedicated teams at Kings, Foresterhill and Marischal College.
