Multi-Faith Chaplaincy

Multi-Faith Chaplaincy

The University of Aberdeen warmly welcomes students and staff from many diverse nations, cultures, faiths, and beliefs. This diversity enriches our whole community, making Aberdeen a great, globally minded place to study and work.

We provide a multi-cultural and supportive environment, so whoever you are and wherever you come from, you will always be welcome. The services and resources of the Chaplaincy are available to all students and staff - we welcome those from all faiths and none.

The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy is, at its very heart, a place of pastoral care. Chaplains provide not only a welcome but support and advice to members of the community in times of stress, crisis, bereavement, or illness. We are also here for those simply wanting to explore questions of a personal or confidential nature. The Chaplaincy actively works to develop and organise inter-faith dialogues and community celebrations, building community through various events.

We always have Fairtrade tea and coffee available for you to enjoy, free of charge! Whether you’re looking for a place to relax between lectures, meet with friends, or join society events, we’re here for you.

If you have something specific that you would like to talk with a chaplain about, or would prefer to make an appointment, please feel free to do so either over the phone or email, but know that this is not a requirement.
