As soon as we have allocated a room to you, we will email instructions detailing the steps to take in order to secure accommodation with us.
Note that you will only be allocated a room if/when you have received
an unconditional offer to study at the University.
Once you have been allocated accommodation we will email you with instructions on what to do next. You will need to electronically sign a contract and paying a non-refundable reservation fee. This fee must be paid within 7 days to secure your accommodation.
The full terms and conditions of tenancy are given in the contract together with information regarding room transfers and cancellations.
As part of the terms and conditions of living in halls you must complete a short online induction before you can move in to your new room.
Each Hall is owned and managed by the University of Aberdeen. There is a mix of catered and self catering rooms across the Halls of Residence, managed by an experienced Operational Team.
You also have a support team of porters and Student Resident Assistants, providing 24/7 support including welfare and discipline.
